Notice of Neuroscience Lecture Activity Held by Beijing Institute For Brain Disorders

Beijing Institute For Brain Disorders will hold a neuroscience lecture on January 9, welcome to attend!

Location: Room 108, No. 1 Teaching Building of Capital Medical University
Time: p.m. 1:30-4:30 on January 9, 2015 (Thursday)

Lecturer: Dr. Wang Yutian

Academician of the Academy of Science of the Royal Society of Canada, and a lifelong professor of the Center for Brain Research, University of British Columbia. He has made outstanding contributions in neuroscience, particularly in the research on learning and memory as well as synapsis, and has applied theoretical breakthrough to clinical practice. Having published more than 10 papers on Nature and other top academic journals, he is the first Chinese who received the (HHMI) International Research Scholar award.

 2. Synaptic plasticity (LTP and LTD) in learning and memory)

Lecturer: Dr. Liu Hesheng
As an Associate Professor of Harvard Medical School, he mainly studies the individual brain function network structure in order to reveal the differences between brain network components of individuals with mental disorders, particularly, he has made a series of achievements on the development and application of multimodal imaging technology for the human brain function map, and has published more than 50 papers on Neuron and other first-class academic journals.
