Beijing Institute For Brain Disorders held the Mobilization Meeting on Combined Training of Postgraduates of International Alliance of Translational Neuroscience (hereinafter referred to as the alliance) in March 2014.

In order to make full use of International Alliance of Translational Neuroscience member units' advantages and resources in neuroscience, strengthen the cross-disciplines and interschool cooperation, promote scientific research and education cooperation between both sides through the combined training pattern for postgraduates, and cultivate and build a group of outstanding research talents in translational neuroscience, Beijing Institute For Brain Disorders has established the project for international combined training of postgraduates. Capital Medical University students pursuing their Ph. D. degrees in the neuroscience related fields and International Alliance of Translational Neuroscience's member units were funded by Beijing Institute For Brain Disorders for combined training for a tentative period of 1 year.

Wang Xiaomin, Head of Beijing Institute For Brain Disorders, imparted pre-departure education to the first batch of combined training postgraduates at the meeting, and asked them to be strict with themselves and study hard when living in a foreign land; he pointed out that the postgraduates as the 'advance force' of the combined training project should also undertake the important tasks of strengthening the communication at home and abroad and promoting both sides to establish a long-term cooperative relationship in addition to completion of their own learning tasks; he wished that the postgraduates would have physical and psychological health abroad, everything was going well and they would come back winning high praise.
