The opening ceremony for the establishment of the Collaborative Innovation Center for Prevention and Control of Beijing Institute For Brain Disorders, International Alliance of Translational Neuroscience and Critical Brain Disorders was held in Beijing on August 29, 2012.
The establishment of the Collaborative Innovation Center for Prevention and Control of Beijing Institute For Brain Disorders, International Alliance of Translational Neuroscience and Critical Brain Disorders will gather multidisciplinary top-level talents of the research on critical brain disorders in one place, with prevention and control of Alzheimer disease, Parkinson disease, stroke, brain tumor, epilepsy, repairing of neural injury and other critical brain disorders as the main objectives, with improvement in the innovative capabilities of scientific researches, disciplines and talents in one as the core task, integrate superior resources of neuroscience at home and abroad, and discuss the genetic characteristics, pathogenic mechanism, early diagnosis, therapeutic methods and disease management and health promotion system of critical brain disorders in China to reduce the incidence and mortality of critical brain disorders, improve patients' living quality, and promote the development of disciplines and biological industrialization of clinical and translational critical brain disorders in China.
