The Report on Beijing Institute For Brain Disorders’ Institute Planning & First Academic Committee Meeting was held at Capital Medical University's Academic Report Hall on November 17, 2013. 19 academic committee members of Beijing Institute For Brain Disorders’ Academic Committee were present at the meeting, and there were 12 academicians, including Academician Han Jisheng, Director of the Academic Committee, Academician Qiang Boqin, Deputy Director of the Academic Committee, Academician Cheng jing and others.
The heads of the Institute of Stroke, Institute of Parkinson disease, Institute of Alzheimer disease, Institute of Brain Tumor, Institute of Epilepsy, Institute of Neural Injury and Rehabilitation, Institute of Depression and Institute of Schizophrenia reported the development planning of their institutes respectively. After listening to the reports, the experts of Beijing Institute For Brain Disorders’ Academic Committee presented six guiding suggestions such as "refining the expected objectives of development, condensing out the key research direction", etc. for the development planning of eight institutes of Beijing Institute For Brain Disorders. They also hoped that Beijing Institute For Brain Disorders should not only devote itself to scientific research and publish good articles, but also publish grounded articles, and give guidance to the common people on how to prevent and cure diseases from the practical application perspective.
