1. Basic and clinical studies on the hearing preservation of patients with small acoustic neuroma after microsurgery, supported by Capital Foundation for Medical Research and Development.   
2. Studies on the effects and mechanisms of the treatment to rat malignant glioma with both immunized DC (dendritc cell) and adoptive T cells, supported by National Natural Science Foundation of China

Achievements and Awards
1. State Council Special Subsidy was awarded in 2001.
2. Studies on the morpho-histopathology and haemodynamics and intravascular treatments to brain AVM was awarded First Prize in Beijing Scientific and Technological Achievements.  
3.  Basic and clinical studies on the microsurgical approaches to petroclival lesions was awarded First Prize in Henan Scientific and Technological Progress Award.
4. Combined Treatment of Invasive Giant Prolactinomas was awarded Second Prize in Scientific and Technological Progress Award of Beijing Xicheng District.
5. Studies on the Micro-anatomy and Clinical Application of Lateral Approaches to Central Region of Skull Base was awarded Second Prize in Shandong Scientific and Technological Award.
   6. Experimental Studies on the Laser and Photodynamic Treatment to Aneurysm  was awarded Third Prize in Beijing Scientific and Technological Progress Award.
   7. Microanatomy and Clinical Studies on Surgical Approaches to Skull Base was awarded Third Prize in Beijing Scientific and Technological Award.  
   8. Microsurgical Treatment to Vestibular Schwannoma (Acoustic Neuroma) was awarded Third Prize in Beijing Scientific and Technological Award.
