Associate chief physician, Department of Neurology
SUMMARY
Dr. Fen Wang, associate chief physician in Department of Neurology of Xuanwu Hospital. She received her M.D. degree in Neurology from Capital Medical University in 2007, and has served on the faculty of Xuanwu Hospital for 9 years.
Dr. Wang’s research focuses on identifying the genetic variations associated with Alzheimer’s disease, and evaluating of genetic and non-genetic risk factors, and exploring the strategies of early identification and prevention the onset of Alzheimer's disease.

RESEARCH INTERESTS
1. Genetic studies for Alzheimer's disease
The aim of this direction is to screen and identify the genetic variations associated with Alzheimer’s disease, and explore the pathological basis between them.
2. Longitudinal clinical studies for Alzheimer's disease
The aim of this direction is to find predictors of cognitive decline and establish strategies to prevent or delay the onset of Alzheimer's disease through longitudinal cohorts.
