Research Interests, Research Content and Main Achievement
Over the years, Professor Wang has been engaged in the research and development of natural medicines for major diseases of the brain, and has published more than 50 scientific papers in important domestic and foreign academic journals. For ischemic intervention, he proposed "reconstruction of neurovascular homeostasis" hypothesis, that neurogenesis, angiogenesis and blood-brain barrier remodeling as a target, can be intervened for prevention and treatment of brain ischemic injury. Two class V new drugs of traditional Chinese medicine he took part in, are being done clinical trial. The classⅠnew drug of traditional Chinese medicine he has been engaged in, shows great potential in developing as an innovative drug of brain protection and repairment in stroke treatment.
